Sapphire AIW 9000 Pro Runs Doom III

Manya
so? I had it running on my old Radeon 8500, and even got it running on a machine with a GF2MX. but it was very, very slow.

yea, no biggie. my 8500 did it ok, and my 9500 @ soft9700 does even better. though framerate drops when u open fire with the machinegun :)

An AIW 9000 is an inferior card to the 8500, don't be fooled by the numbers. The 8500 is better than the 9000, but I believe the 9100 is better than the 8500. (Not by much, but a little.) DON'T BUY ANY OF THEM! Get yourself one of them zippy 9500s or 9700s! Get a cheap one and use rivatuners new soft9700 to crank that baby and you're talking a serious gaming card for about $170us! :D (Thanks again Unwinder, you're seriously excellent and have added to me gaming/geek enjoyment IMMENSLY! :) )
