I'm still trying to wrap my head around this one as it is a bit technical, but basically it's looking like DST is an nVidia only extension that is NOT part of the dx9 spec but that is ON by DEFAULT in 3dm2k5 giving nVidia hardware a 10-15% performance boost. :( It didn't take long for a scandel to break, did it. :roll:

Uhm, Rev pretty much hates my guts and has been looking for a way to get me off of B3D for a while now...there ain't a whole lot of love lost between us. But I do respect the man's knowledge tremendously, and if he says something ain't right I'm inclined to sit up and take notice.
