"See, SEE?!?! It's NOT a "2-slot solution" this time like all those fanboy techsites have been screaming!" "Yeah boss, it barely takes up one and three quarters of a slot!" ROOOOOOOOOFLES~~~~

Looks like an on board beeper in the top right (with PCB wash sealer still on). Presumably that will beep if you ain't got 1000GW's plugged into it :O, and it's not like you'd hear it over the noise that mother of all HSF's is gonna make LOL.

Don't know about 'This other card' ;), but the NV40 picture suggests is just gonna pump a whole lot of heat straight back into the middle of the box, against normal case airflow. They might as well use 2 slots and turn the HSF around and pipe straight out the back. Bad design! Watch that NDA.

Told ya :D

To prevent exactly this problem, I have cut a hole in the side of my case next to the cpu and fitted a section of tumble dryer hose from the cpu fan to outside the case. Works wonders, CPU temp is unaffected by any internal heatsources :)

On another note, if this site is correct, the 6800 Ultra will be $100 cheaper than the X800XT. I really cant wait for reviews of these cards.
