You're the first site I've seen pimping this story that bothers to point out that Doom3 is an "earlier alpha and a lot will change till final release" Too many people are putting WAY too much stock in a pre-released specialized Alpha build and it is NOT representative of how the final game will perform. I just have this feeling that damned leak is going to be screwing up perceptions for no reason, I wouldn't even be surprised to see a driver team tweaking their drivers to run better on it.....which would be a TOTAL waste and is just pure silliness. :rolleyes: Mr. Carmack? Could you PLEASE release a decent technology demo that people could play with that is better representative of how the actual game will perform?

This is no surprise, on more than one occassion Carmack said he prefers the FX, he has one in his own machine.
