What the hell happened to 1.30 being the final release?

1.30 had some nasty bugs, hopefully they fixed that in this release

It wasnt meant that it was the "final release" because it was called that. It was the 1.30 Final Release :/ and there are so many cheats with 1.30 thank GOD they changed it. My clan members and myself just found out 2 nights ago about a new hack that is just terrible and an error made by Id Software and not made by some haxor! Try starting Q3 and in the console type this: /developer 1 /r_shownormals 1 Then go play a game... WITH A NICE SHITTY CHEEZY WALLHACK!! Just not kewl... we caught a team called Clan NMS using this cheat against us in an RA3 scrimmie

I get a msg that its cheat protected. Had to load up as a devmap to even see what it did...

you probably did something wrong, I was able to play online with this cheat. Using 1.30 ofcourse
