i remember them posting that preview 3 hadn't been optimised properly, and still maybe even hd debug code in as they wanted fast feature feedback.... but DAMN preview 4 is fast =)

preferences - programs and paths - disable the 'show email client' option to get rid the damn annoying systray icon too if you don't want it. badly named option...
