Yeah me thinking the same... Maybe there going to produce a stand-alone addon card aswell as onboard solutions. Dunno if a combo card would work, but i do reckon they are gonna try and fight creative for the gamers market.

You know, you could be right... They could be using a graphics chip for processing audio by translating audio data into graphical data and then back into audio... That would give great performance, they tried it once. They translated the data in software, and the GPU used then processed the audio about 40 times faster than an APU. If they translate it in hardware it could be even faster...

Hm.. Maybe it will be a PCI-express card or something??? Or in an external USB type device (doubt it). Or possibly hes just saying that it wont be onboard. Anyway, soundstorm 2 = me happy :)

Haha, thats what creative gets when they go ATI. They should have knewn it and go with nvidia instead. Oh well, too late now.
