That's weird because i never had any problems with this 23.11 driver. In fact, it seems to be the fastest and most stable of all. I never had any BSOD, performance loss or instant reboot. I have an Asus a7v (r1007) , Thunderbird 1 Ghz + an asus Geforce1 Deluxe SGRAM...and a score of approx. 3060 in 3dmark2001 is pretty nice for a first generation of GeForce.

I can say I've had NO problems out of 23.11 They better NOT 'fix' the drivers because of Via's ***** ass. 22.50+ increased the speed on the Geforce 2 by like 300 points, and 23.10+ took that up another 100. Why should we stand for Via's crap ass chipsets? There's been millions of problems with their chipsets, if you buy it now then YOU'RE the STUPID one. There are plenty of other chipsets out there w/o problems that one can purchase for their processors. I use an Intel chipset, I run SBA,FW,AGP4x all ENABLED on my ASUS GF2. It runs incredibly nice. No problems out of it. I OC'd however, it gained like 3 FPS in Q3....not enough to risk frying the chip(from 200/333 to 210/345).

I want my V-Card company to push my card to the Max!! So why should Nvida cut the Nut's off it's drivers because some Chip company can't keep up!! Don't matter I got my 23.11's & their smoken the men. chips on O'LE G-2 Ti. & NO PROBLEM'S SNAKE-BITE

Like you can use a Intel chipset with a AMD processor moron. SiS or NForce (ALi is iffy & AMD's are being phased out) is not "plenty" of other chipsets. Confomity. Glad they removed to rectify issues for the masses and not leave it up to please the few.

I can tell you all, that i use a Via mobo and i DON'T have problems with the 23.11 drivers at all. I have read somewhere on the net that they (23.11) take up more resources, but with 768megs of ram i don't have a problem, they work fine for me :)

I'm using ABit VP6 (VIA) Dual PIII-700, Abit T400 and SBLive Value CT4830. No problem with Detonator 23.11 and SBLiveXPDrvUpdate drivers.

haven't had any problems with 23.11 so far... -just remember last time this year we're in a fuckin* cage in cuba :manolo

Well, anything after 21.83 still causes major problems on Tyan Dual Athlon motherboardds, and that's all that matters to me. I'll take two Athlon MP 1800s and a Radeon 1 64MB over a single AthlonMP 1800 and a GF3 Ti500 any day. It's just not worth it for me.

23.11 completely screwed up for me - and I'm not even using VIA! Back to the old driver for now.

they screwed everyone with voodoo cards by not supporting or making any drivers and now they cannot support their own cards, such as gforce2ti xtasy5864 to run on xp.
