NVidia 6800 Video Processor Failure

Especially the driver support (namely bugs in games, linux support and slow ass opengl performance). I literally feel the fanboyism on LAN partys when people with their ATI brag and then when I look at their screens theres artifacts (which they funnily completely IGNORE - "what artifacts?") everywhere. Also I only see people with ATI cards asking for help with their graphic card/driver on the partys. Coupled with my own experiences with 6 ATI cards, ATI still has a lot of work to do to get me to buy one of their cards again. I rather have a single tertiary function not working (actually playback and encoding still works, just not as efficient or fast). But if you look at 6xxxs that have that support enabled, it will kick the shit out of ATIs X series. ~20% CPU usage compared to ~40%. If youre so into video editing, capturing etc, youre far better of with ATIs All-In-One things anyway.

I personally think both ATI and NVIDIA users are all wankers. All I ever see here is crying and whining about what NVIDIA or ATI has just done to you. Bloody victims aren´t you all. Why don´t I ever read how someone has just stuck it up the companies that screwed them via writing to them, walking into their office or just abused them over the phone or someone that has threatened legal action. These things work. Be screwed if I would ever sit for the crap you people do. Take a stand and stop being little girls. Freaking loosers.

Thats exactly the same I hear from the fanATIcs all the time. But the performance argument is really rare nowadays. At least some of them actually realize that ATI isnt the real king in D3D anymore. Im no nvidiot, if ATI would finaly do some SERIOUS quality drivers I would look at them again for sure, but right now its not an option for me. Same with Intel and AMD. Right now Intel is no option for a new desktop computer (even though I still have an Intel). The only difference is that ATI has been shitty ever since and I doubt that will change anytime soon, wheras Intel and AMD alternated from time to time. Sometimes Intel had the better ones, sometimes (and right now) AMD. The FX line was shitty except some lower models like the 5700, true (only D3D performance wise - if you still think there was broken hardware, you just proving youre an fanATIc).
