He's not as stupid as you! His comments may not have spoken from experience, how do you know if he is stupid tho. Thats an entirely different matter and very personal. Just because current architecture cant make much use of it doesnt make it a joke, its extra bandwidth there for when you need it (ie reducing loading times for large textured games). No nothing like that. They more likely just changed how the data gets passed between the graphics card & the motherboard. I mean, they designed both, so they'd know what the optimal conditions are for transferring data between both.

I recall MSI making a similar statement some time ago, that they were looking into ways to increase performance when using a MSI branded GPU on a MSI branded motherboard. Maybe this is what they were talking about back then, as they are one of the premier Nvidia resellers.
