"11 levels" And I bet it will cost the price of a full game too! Reminds me of the Team Arena fiasco.

Agree completely.. and bullet time? jeez, took modders couple minutes to add that to HL2 (just bind a key to slow time cmd).

I had no faith in ID Software when it comes to storytelling, but now I do. Someone mentioned Half-Life 2, which total sum of spoken/written lines can be summed up on a single paper sheet. I appreciate both the storytelling techniques (e-mails/video's/cutscenes) and the spooky engine that make's it possible to build an experience that other current engines simply cannot deliver due to their lack of real-time light. I believe this is the future, and short to say, I look forward to the expansion as well. Plus all other games that uses real-time light.

Who cares, Doom 3 was a terrible, terrible game. ID Software should stick to doing what they do best, engines, not games.
