....is it still a piece of crap at admittedly whizzy speeds? (I've been hearing from disatisfied Parhelia owners a LOT lately!)

If you do a lot of 2d artwork, or some 3dsmax ect. rendering on the desktop the Parhelia is nice, but if you really need something with performance (aka games) then you're out of luck.
