I think is what he meant, is that there is no way to "boot from the CD" to do a fresh install. (example new hard drive). You of course can do a "clean" install or "upgrade" off the media, however, if you have *NO* current operating system, the rumor is that you can't put in your Upgrade Disk and boot off it and install.
