You can try the drivers available (huge download though) from compaq. They are version 5.12.2.252. Though the creative site drivers came out a week later they are marked version 5.12.1.253. ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp21501-22000/SP21636.exe Whether the signficance of the "1" Vs "2" is version related or a marker of somesort can only be speculated on. I have yet to see Compaq or Creative give an official comment.
