I haven't lost any liberties. I can still go buy a gun and ammo. I can travel freely without having to ask or show papers every xx amt of miles. I can pubically voice my opinion. Use a vote to change my government. Downloading copyrighted materials isn't a right or liberty. Its theft, stealing. People in Non-US countries have been stealing and pirating software, music, movies, TV shows, ebooks, for so long without interference from *their* covernments, that they mistake it for a right. The facts that their governments don't try and stop this pratice reinforces the mistaken belief that this is a right.

Actually statictics have proven that the uS is pretty low on the pirating list. ZFor software anyway. Haven't seen any actual numbers on the rest, but I bet it follows the same trend. As for Columbine. That was done by some severly disfunctional people. Most people I know have either owned or had access to guns their entire lives. None of them have shot anyone. And that goes back 3 generations.

well said. thats a true fact. for example I hardly know any european computer freaks that dont have their whole computer full of pirated software. compared to US, where I know a LOT more who dont pirate like its their job to do so. they all blame the US for all their loss of rights but they are too dumb to blame themselves. germans for example live in an extreme fee, tax and law country and if a new law comes to it which is actually quite useful (besides the other ones) they suddenly start crying. and the funny thing I noticed too, is they dont really care about other people (they only say that to make themselves look smart and humanistic), but when you take away their piracy "rights" on games, music, etc (which come out of the hated USA mainly btw, smartasses) they start crying like a 1 year old who wants to be fed. you idiots who blame the US all the time, you should take your finger and point it at your nose, just from time to time. self criticism is very healthy. I am a european too, just not proud of it anymore with all this overwhelming idiotism on this contient. actually, i.e. I feel much more comfortable in american internet communities because most of them actually still think before they say something and dont start flaming that extremely fast like europeans.

ignorant *****. america is a country that involves a lot of rights for other religions and cultures. JFYI there are towns in the USA where only people live who have multiple wives. there are towns where only muslims live, etc etc. but tehre are also towns where people live mixed with all cultures, religions, living ways etc THAN IN ANY OTHER COUNTRY ON THIS EARTH. oh and btw, the internet is not YOUR country. without the USA the internet wouldnt be there and your loved games would suck too!!! besides that its about time that the internet wont be that anonymous anymore. people can do far too much illegal things easily just because of the internet. it would look the same way on the worlds streets if every car had tinted windows and wouldnt have a license plate that is visible to everyone.
