How to fix ICQ now and in future versions in less than a minute: * Quit ICQ * Go to the ICQ folder * Delete the folder named "AteBrowser" * Create a file named "AteBrowser" right click, new > Text Document, Rename to AteBrowser without extension * Set the file to Read-Only Rightclick AteBrowser, select properties, select "Read-Only" and click ok. For people that uses a fresh history file, this will remove the banners AND the "bannerspace" from all messagewindows. This will not only work with the current version but will keep the banners away from future versions as well, as long as you keep reinstalling in the same folder. For people that already used their ICQ with banners, this have been saved permanently in their history file. If this is true, they will still see the bannerspace beneath the message window, but it does not contain any banners. I havnt seen an ICQ banner on my computer for 2 years.
