How do you make sure you get the right 9500?

your unlocking the extra 4 pipelines, but that also takes advantage of the bus to be 256 bit. your looking for L shaped ram.. 128mb of it

Make sure you buy a non pro Radeon 9500 with 128mb, it needs to have a red PCB and L shaped memory (2 modules on top, 2 on the right) Sapphire R9500 are usually moddable, but, from what I've heard, it's hard to get those cards now as they're making new 9500s based on 9500 Pro PCB.

According to the pic, that's the one. Eventhough my friend has that card but the heatsink isn't golden. o.O
