For this to have been a honest comparison they should have used the Nvidia 6800XT not the 7800XT as the ATI 850XT is the comparable card to the 6800. So if they would have used the X1800 card offering from ATI it would be a good comparison.

They should have at the least included the 6800 in the review. But you can purchase the X1800 XL 256meg card so that excuse doesn't wash. If you want a link let me know.

any respectable review site has access to 1800XT's - and the availibility shouldnt thereforre be an issue. this article is grossly misleading.

Not to mention if the new ATi card is out, driver implementation and support for it wouldn't be that great. It takes some time for the hardware's driver support to "settle-in" and truly show what it can do.
