Highpoint-Tech Readies New Drivers!
unknown
i have combined the abit 64 bios and the highpoint 2.3 bios and flashed my board - works fine since yesterday afternoon. also the w2k driver 2.3 works - no problems yet.
unknown
Xp would not boot with this new bios/combo driver but this was on an iwill side raid 100 card Had no trouble with previos releases, And the driver file does not include the RCM device ??
unknown
I have a Chaintech HPT370 Card. Flashupgrade is only possible with an uploadtool by Chaintech. But why has this Bios a smaller size than the others? 52kb the new, 56 the old firmware.
unknown
Yes me too I have an Iwill RAID100 card and i get windows xp error, i had to go back to the older one.
unknown
These drivers do not seem any like the older ones..plus the file size is smaller... Does not work preperly with Iwill RAID100 card...

How do I update the built on RAID controller on my mobo with this new Bios (Abit KT7A-Raid) its a 370.
unknown
1. get the abit bios 2. get the highpoint bios 3. get the tool cbrom 4. use the tool to replace the original implemented highpointbios from abit with the new highpointbios you have downloaded. 5. the resultfile ist the file you should take to flash your board. as i said, on my abit kt7-raid with w2k it works quite nice, but some others seems to have problems - so its your own risk to do it !!!

I have Inaccessable boot device error during boot after flashing this new bios on my W2k
unknown
have you remembered to clear the bios via jumper and make all settings in your bios again?
unknown
But im using a PCI raid Card, (IWILL)so its totaly seperate from the motherboard Bios.
unknown
Could you give me any help on this cbrom tool, first of all what version did you use and second of all, do i need to release something first or what?
unknown
there are several version of cbrom. for me cbrom207.zip was the working archive. cbrom606.zip and cdrom124.zip were just displaying crap. you have to try it. if CBROM kt7_64.bin /D gives you a clear output, then you got your working version. the command is : CBROM kt7_64.bin /PCI biosv23.370 cbrom (the programm) kt7_64.bin (the biosfile from abit ) /pci (what you want to replace) biosv23.370 (the bios from highpoint you want to integrate) again CBROM kt7_64.bin /D to check if everything gone well now you have a new kt7_64.bin bios to flash your board as you can read above, some users have problems with the new combo, so its your risk. and i do not know if your files have the same name. kt7_64.bin was it for my kt7-raid.
unknown
That worked, the version i was using (1.30) was displaying all this wierd stuff, no wonder i couldnt figure it out.
unknown
I tried it on the Chaintech 370A card and it came back with the error that the bios was for the 370 Adaptor only ??
unknown
What do you mean about "does not work properlly" ???
unknown
I got this also. Have emailed Highpoint 6 times but they have not replied.
