how do you suppose to install them ? after they suppobly get installed i go look in the properties and it still show 3.17.xx version, any help would be great

I've got the same problem. As recommended for the previous drivers, I disconnected from the internet so that windows wouldn't try to update from the internet. Yet, it did not update my drivers to the latest driver shown above. I am at 3.17.xx also. Could use a driver update as I've had some small problems with the latest official released drivers. Let me know. Thanks.

If you have WinACE or WinRAR installed you can decompress the executable and then go to device manager and update the drivers manually

There is a later version of WinTV v3.27-20012 on Hauppauge website. After you installed the latest driver, you will notice that the driver version has changed to the version you just installed under driver details.
