Anyone who wanted to play it eventually broke down and bought an x-box to play it

Well I didn't :). I just don't like Consoles period. PC all the way for me.

I really dont see what is so special about this game. Looks like a combo of Unreal 1 and 2 and Tribes. I tried to watch the video again but I fell asleep.

Halo has well and truly missed its window. What on earth were Bungie playing at (those many moons ago)? I have no inspiration to watch this movie. Started playing HALO on the Xbox, got halfway, got bored then sold the Xbox. Why is this game driven so strongly by consumers enthusiam for a PC release? What does Halo offer that other games don't? Oh I suppose the release is better later than never......
