Agreed. Half-Life 2 have some beautiful landscapes, but under the surface it's little more than a red-thread themepark. The total sum of dialogue fits on 2 pages, making it close to Doom II in story, and you spend 85% of the game shooting the very same black-dressed combine soldiers in what I say is the least variated game since I do not know when.
