Domingo, Dude if you cant afford it dont put it down trikass bishe.....and as i do agree with some of your post let me give you some figures: 6 months ago- 2-6600gt's=180x2=$360 1-6800 ultra=$500 and those 2 6600gt's give me same performance....now if you get 1 7800 now and 1 later when there 300 and the new geforce8 comes out ios 600 you still win....maybe only by a small $200 margin or so and you can crank up the hardware and then you will see what your really missing in a games graphics....

i have to say that really this dual card system is just another way to squueze even more money out of the gfx card market, its insane

Yes that's true. @deez 2x gfx card = 2x more heat emission + 2x more power drain + SLI/CROSSFIRE mainboard (which are more expensive than normal ones)

LOL Yes i agree but this is for gamers if you are not a gamer this article doesnt concern you....and if you are a gamer and you are concerned then dont get this system...I have had sli for a year or so now maybe less and it is far from perfect all i know is i got the budget system and it was worth it....in todays games graphics cards are not the only thing that give you better performance anyway.....they just allow higher resolutions and the ability to turn on hardware features of that gpu while at those higher rez's
