Once you turn off your computer, everything stops working. And when nothing is working, no heat is produced. It is impossible to fry your computer after turning it off. Once you turn it off it can only get cooler, not hotter. It is totally useless, not because no one turns of their computer (which what 90% do), but because devices dont create heat once they lose power.
