The installer readme states that this driver also enables EAX 4 for Audigy 1. Not that any game supports this at the moment. If not - then it maybe time to upgrade...

Audigy Driver – AUD_EAX4DRV_031031.exe (13.4 MB) Looks like EAX 4 driver to me :). I am surprised Creative is doing this for A1, does not look like their product support policy :).

I installed the EAX 4.0 driver on my Audigy 1, and on the EAX console under special FX, I lost all my EAX settings. EAX still seems to work in games though.
