I particularly like this bit: "Optimizations must produce the correct image, and must accelerate the normal running of the application, not just the benchmark mode. In our view, if an optimization produces the correct picture it is beneficial to the end user and is legitimate. If a change in the driver does not produce the correct picture, or functions only in the benchmark, it is either a bug and must be fixed, or a cheat. " Well in that case they are admitting to still cheating in just about every DX9 game and most benchmarks. How can they admit changing the image quality is cheating yet still use the compiler (which changes image quality) and say they don´t cheat?? If they want to cheat that´s fine, I don´t have to buy their products and wont, but to still deny it so blatantly is just pathetic.
