Ignore the tip about using more than 1 processor to speed boot time. It actually had a negative affect on my system by about 50%. I think this is because you now have 2 processors fighting over whats loaded from disk which causes even more disk thrashing at boot. Perhaps if you had a very very fast RAID system or solid state drive it might work out, but who has.
