The default update setting is seven days. If you want it quicker it's a simple registry hack. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ServicesW32TimeTimeProvidersNtpClientSpecialPollInterval The number you see is seven days in seconds.
