why not link to the free no-ad version, the one with 'lite' encoding tools.. that's the one most people need?

Why bother linking to the free version when most readers here will install the Adware version anyway then run Adaware?

as far as i know divx checs if gaim is installed when you run the adware encoding tools. but some people - like me - dont use the encoding tools in divx, so the free version is just the much better.
