I don't know any good DVD player software but PDVD is at least not the worst WinDVD is much worse

I had PowerDVD V3 for a while and was very satisfied with it. Then I tried ATIs DVD player (barf), Nvidias (barf too) and then WinDVD, which was the worst of all since it made problems with the sound, the playback, options etc etc. I changed back to PowerDVD and all was fine again. Anyone know if V6 has 8 channel support out of the box or do you have to buy "extensions" again?
