both of you have a point, PCI1 isnt the best slot since it shares ressources with the AGP slot. but again, it doesnt ruin performance of your gfx card, theres just a bigger chance of incompability problems.

hmm... i prefer an external router as broadband "modem" that you just plug your RJ45 lan cable into.
