I'm sorry, I waited too long for this, so I dumped my 9800 Pro and got a 6600GT instead. I got my performance gain alright, by replacing my card completly.

Much needed? i havent upgraded from my 9500np and i still dont have problems running any games. so they arent "much needed" to me, just "nice"

In the mission statement of catalyst driver, it says performance improvement on every release ... now they have to leaked info. to get hype because no much has been going on for ATI lately ...
