Thats as stupid as saying if your house/car gets broken into then it's your fault. It's HIS fault as he wrote the virus/worm. Just because the vulnerability was there doesn't mean he's innocent for exploiting it.

BTW - Perhaps I'm stating the obvious, but ya know not everyone with XP/2000 has an "administrators to apply the security fix." You "might" be surprised to be informed that plenty of people use XP/2000 at (drum-roll) home.

he just copied the RPC exploit off of neworder and made a pretty shitty delevery mechanism. but it worked... had the delevery mechanism been properble thought through it could have been much more devastating

it was nothing special.. it was just copypasting of code. and it was rather bad. especially in the part that detects if the target is winxp and deals with it accordingly. he wont get any jobs. and its not a problem to code a denial of service application and schedule it to attack at a certain time. it's actually THE easiest attack.
