Actually Windows ME was Microsofts response to Windows 2000 not penetrating the market as planned because of lack of driver support. Windows ME came out AFTER Windows 2000. It was nothing more than Windows 98 Second Edition with bug fixes that you can download off the internet, new media player, pinball demo, and system restore. Thats it... oh, and no dos -- which was microsoft's way of trying to prepare everyone for the fact that NT 4.0 is a true 32-bit OS and therefore can only emulate DOS (meaning dos games might not work).

And windows me is without a doubt the buggiest os microsoft released since windows 3.0. They only released it to keep making money until xp was finished
