whats the problem ??? the price for creative cards is really low ... just see .... 50€ for audigy 2 ZS and as non-zs to zs the price difference is very low ... so why did they name the card 4 ??? who knows ... maybe they have internally reworked the complete card ... maybe they just having fun writing 4's or maybe the 4 is just the coolest number ... WHO THE HELL CARES ??? there are companies that do want 40€ for an upgrade from version 6.0.3 to 6.0.4 they named it that way and fine ... some ppl who pay 600€ for a soundcard do care about 4dB or less as ppl. do that pay 1200€ für a 6800 ultra mega power edition LOL

hi, i agree that this card is virtually no different from earlier versions, and the gag about a completely reworked core is just funny. Creative have been taking the piss for a while now, and with all the hullabaloo with other members of the hardware community shouting out their new products its seems obvious that poor old creative sound has been a bit quiet nowadays. So lets release the same card again. All you gotta do is give the old dog a lick and a spit present it in a flashy box with a couple of extras including the wonderful number "4" and the punters will lap it up. Its all about the wonderful world of marketing again. Why audigy 4, cos jonny no brain will then walk into pc world and buy this immediately as its the top of the range. cant wait for the next installment.

..their crappy drivers and total lack of support. I say that with an Audigy2 in my rig and I previously owned a SB-live so I knew going in what I was getting into, but the Audigy2 just ain't got an equal yet in gaming soundcards. :(
