EliteBastards already showed that the aquamark issue wasnt anything but a gamma bug, no overdraw reductions. the ref. renderings from aguamark developers had no difference other than a gamma reduction

Did Elitebastards also explain the differnce in the UT2K3 shots? Or was that just gamma as well? It's a genuine question not a dig, incase anyone thinks it is.

No they didnt explain it, but someone at rage3D pointed out (i think) that the texture on the foot furture away was right so if it was an 'optimisation' it was a pretty lame one. Its just a bug.
