hmm, so ATI has found a way to make games look great and run fast... oh no.. worlds coming to an end. while Nvidia tried all kinds of driver hacks, screenshot replacement, rendering scenes without certain effects, while advertising TWIMTBP (or whatever its called). so lets tally that up.. ATI 1.. NVIDIA... psh.. quite a few. honestly, if your really undecided, find a LAN party in your area, or a friend(s) in your area who may own one of each of these cards (its not unheard of) and watch them both in action, and make your decision based on that. if you arent in a position to do either of the above, then chances are.. either ATI or NVIDIA will do you right.. and you do have the option to return them to the place of purchase usually if your not happy with one. for the first time since Nvidia and 3Dfx, we have a choice of two really good video card companys, and personally, i rather like having a choice again as to what i want to buy. Would i take an Nvidia card? sure... the games look good on them too. But i'd still rather purchase an ATI at this time, as it would be nice to see a totally different control panel, and hardware in action for a change:) Cheers all.

They should do a new review op the 6800 Ultra vs. X800XT but then both with the optimisations enabled, because now it isn't completely fair.
