I can say that they didn't work well on my system and mmog that I'm betaing. I rolled back to the 3.7's I was having situations where it couldn't decide what textures to lay down. A pathway would be stone 1 sec, dirt the next, and grassy the next. Also missing textures. Just big gaping holes in the world. Yeah, I know its a beta game. But I've been betaing it thru many game builds and vid driver sets and the 3.8's were the first to cause problems. No idea about refresh rate probs. They didn't stay that long on my system.

Have they tested pre 3.7 against 3.7/3.8? I started having overheating problems pre 3.7 so the difference may be before that, just no one realised (I didn't until I heard of others in the same boat, I just assumed something in the games software or D3d drivers had caused it). My cards over heating only happens when playing games like Counter-strike or JKII, are the people who say it ain't happening to them running high graphically intensive games ike these, maybe they are just lucky and there PC has lots of cooling inside? BTW my card is not mod'ed in any way.

for sure troubles are everywhere ... no question but "flickering" monitor only a specific resolutions ... which stopped with Cat 3.7 are rumors ??? I can't say anything on Temp .... but there ARE problem with Cat3.8

yeah I did not have Problem either but does this have to mean that anyone has no problem .... after your calculation .... if 15 ppl. who can multiply 27432 with 9273 without calculator ... does this mean anyone can do this ???
