So if your so great and rational who the hell are you ??? Ill tell you who you are, your some random internet guy who no one knows or cares about. You could be anyone, you are probably just a kid yourself, or maybe your a billionaire cumputer whizz, we dont know. The fact is yes nvidia and ATI are not perfect, but as far as i can see ATI are not lieing right now, nvidia are. ATIs products have in my experience been better and thats all i need to know. The new drivers are great if you bought an FX in the past (pre-scandel), but it doesnt make the purchase of an FX in the future any less idiotic.

Why do you say I'm getting ripped off? Over the past 6 years I've used nVidia & ATI cards. Tell you what there's not a jot of difference between the companies policies. They are out to make money. You might find that a weird concept but it's a fact of life that for a company to exist and continue to survive it has to make a profit. If I want a new graphics card I make my choice then buy be it ATI or nVidia, it's my choice entirely. As for optimising drivers to enable good benchmarking, so what, benchmarks mean sod all compared to real life gaming and graphics apps.
