Great Tool, but how do u get it to work?

Open up the Command Prompt and then type "qfecheck" (minus quotes). It will then list all the hotfixes you have installed as well as any service packs (as if :D).

can not can even update my computer. I installed Win XP Pro after Win 98, but I always get the next response: "Thank you for your interest in Windows Update Windows Update is the online extension of Windows that helps you get the most out of your computer. You must be running a Microsoft Windows operating system in order to use Windows Update." Can somebody, who knows computers better than me, tell what is happening? Me
