This tool clears out your current data sets in RAM. Clearmem (clearmem.exe)?Forces pages out of physical memory and reduces the size of running processes? working sets to a minimum. When you run this tool, the system pauses because of excessive high-priority activity associated with trimming the working sets. To run this tool, your paging file must be at least as large as physical memory.

Guru3d have released a new tweak tool called nVHardPage. Quotes from Guru:

Just got word that Guru3D.com are looking for beta testers for a new version of Q3Bench with support for Return to Castle Wolfenstein! Here's what their saying.

I've sent a working "beta" copy of a new version of Q3Bench up to the boss. This one will work for all versions of Quake3, as well as RTCW.

For both Q3 v1.31 and all versions of RTCW, there are not any built in demos. If you have an older version (or copy of one) of Quake3, Q3Bench will add in the built in demos.

This is the one with the improved, at least semi-transparent, DVI support that was promised a while back, particularly for the Radeon and NVidia cards. Also: - improved monitor enumeration and correspondence

The 3D Analyzer Tool was created and refined to overcome limitations posed by modern 3D Games and other Applications on several current mainstream 3D Cards. Basic functionality will equip non-T&L cards with a software substitute. Advanced functionality will enable User selectable 3D Features not available in many older Cards. Yet, this is presently achieved not by Emulation but by NUL-Rendering. This means, advanced 3D Features the Card is not capable of, are reported as available in Hardware, but have their calls intercepted and the respective 3D Features will not be rendered. These functions are based upon the premise and ideas, that :

3D Games can be launched, that otherwise would fail due to lack of Hardware support.

No 3D Game should solely rely on a few, isolated rendering features, and therefor loss of image quality by NUL-Rendering 'should' be minimal and acceptable in most cases.

I would recomment to experiment with it in your games or other 3D applications (i.e. 3D Mark2001SE).

XMovie is a reference movie player for MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MP3 audio, MP2 audio, WAV, AIFF, AC3 audio, Quicktime and DVD's on Linux boxes.
