We have a roadmap for AMD CPUs for 2004. This includes all the models (including Newcastles and 90nm chips) that are supposed to come out this year. What is most noteworthy for the average person reading this is that the slowest Newcastle will run at 2.2GHz and have a 3400+ rating.

Why is that important? It is important because it almost guarantees that Newcastles are going to be expensive for a very long time to come.

AanandTech have thrown up their updated AMD 2004 CPU Roadmap!

On the chipset side, we are all waiting for Grantsdale and Alderwood from Intel, the successors to the 865 and 875 platforms. But where Intel's 2004 roadmap is pretty straight forward, AMD's is a bit more cluttered with the confusion of varying cache sizes, Socket-939 and model numbers. Although most of the information about AMD's future plans have already been leaked on the net, we decided to put together a quick reference page to AMD's 2004 CPU roadmap to go along with our recent coverage of chipset plans.

"The most fabulous thing about this 7 in 1 card reader is that it needs a 2.5" Hard Drive. "What?" you ask. Well, with a hard drive in this card reader, you download your pictures to the Best Store. The number of pictures is only limited by the size of the hard drive you install. Imagine just using one or two media cards for your digital camera. For a modest amount of money to outfit this. You'd probably spend that already in two media cards. Instead, you can download all of your media cards, then hook it up via USB, and grab them all at once. Does it get any better than that?"

Everglide FuZe Mousepad review @ DiscGamer.com

Today one of the newest members to the DiscGamer team Jesse has reviewed the Everglide FuZe mousepad and ran it up against his RatPadz GS.

"The FuZe by Everglide is LARGER then the Ratpadz GS and even if it's just by a hair, you need all you can get. The pad is also not very deep which will help everyone with carpel tunnel syndrome problems (me). The pad itself is incredibly smooth and flat. The one thing everyone seems to notice when swapping to the FuZe (especially from a 2nd gen Ratpadz) is how you feel like your in more control of the mouse."
