Radeon X1900 XTX To Score Over 11K?
We came to know that Radeon X1900 XTX (R580) will officially be clocked at 650MHz core and 1550Mhz for the memory while the X1900 XT will be officially clocked at 625MHz / 1450MHz. The reason for the lower memory clocks for X1900 XT is unclear yet since the X1800XT is already clocked at 1.5GHz. It is also confirmed that R580 has 16 pipelines and 48 shader processors.

ATI?s R580 Versus Nvidia?s G71
ATI thinks that the number of pixel operations per clock is more important than the pixel number itself. Nvidia disagrees. It believes in a totally different ratio. With the birth of the R580, ATI sends the message that you should have three to one ratio as R580 has 48 Shaders and 16 pixel pipelines.

Deeper with the GeForce 7 series
This article is actually meant more as an addendum to the first part (which you can read here), where we talk mostly about transparency antialiasing performance from NVIDIA's GeForce 7 series cards. For the most part, transparency antialiasing is only really usable on old games (that does use lots of transparent textures). Newer games tend to be too much of a burden, even for the fastest GeForce 7800GTX, especially if we were to use 4x AA.
The Robosapien v2 Is Here
WowWee's second attempt at the Robosapien is a pricey one, at $250. Still, the Robosapien V2 is nearly double the size of its predecessor and is capable of head turns, arm and shoulder bends, grasping with large robotic fingers, and bending at the waist. By entering program mode via the remote, you can program him to move in any position you like. He can also hear, see, feel, and interact. But, if there's one thing that he doesn?t excel at, it's bowling!

ASUS Extreme N7800GT Dual Graphics Card Review
NVIDIA?s SLI is "passé", as we are now moving towards quad-GPUs with the future looking dramatically exciting. What ASUS and others have been trying to do is integrate two GPUs on a single card, and thus far, ASUS seems to be the king of the hill with this concept.
Intel Pentium Extreme Edition 955 review
At the transition to a 90nm manufacturing process, something that would be a long down period for Intel started and the cause - heat. For several years it struggled with refining its manufacturing process to be able to increase the frequencies of the Prescott core. The goal was to release a processor at 4GHz, but this turned out to be too much. Intel has for the last year been working on setting their factories to use 65nm technology and it has according to information we've received already reached a productivity equal to the already refined 90nm process.

ATI: Say Bye-Bye to Paper Launches, Hopefully
Ah, back to the seemingly age old topic. If it wasn?t for ATI, I doubt we would be talking about this stagnant, yet important, topic anymore. Radeon X1900 will be released in Q1 of next year?
Close partner of ATI said ATI will release a brand new video card to replace X1800XT. X1800 will be a half-year-old king. The card that will be replacing X1800XT is the famous R580. Its internal name is now X1900. It is Pin-to-Pin competiable with the X1800XT PCB. The engineering sample uses the identical cooling as the X1800XT. Its competitor will be nVidia Geforce G71, a new gen 90nm core. Seems like the Q1 of next year will be an interesting year as the war btw ATI & nVidia heats up.
