The main feature of this keyboard is the customizable illumination. Although it won't really help you when doing your daily work, it does help when gaming in a dark environment such as at a LAN gaming event. The lighting does help surprisingly well in those situations and you won't be hunting for keys you cannot see anymore. TweakNews

Intel's V8 eight-core PC

Last week Intel showed off its eight-core V8 PC. This computer featured two quad-core Xeon processors. Here's a short snip: "When it comes to scaling performance, the name says it all: multicore. It can mean two, four or more cores. The path to more performance used to be deeper pipelines with cranked up clock rates, but the model now is to go wider with more cores. Each of these cores has better per-clock efficiency (instructions per clock, or IPC), so lower clock rates actually can yield better performance.."

Conroe-L has only got 35W TDP

Intel just announced the power consumption specification for those processors upcoming in 2007. Noted that the next-generation value Conroe-L is all at 35W TDP only, 30W lesser than the previous Cedar Mill deviated from Netburst architecture.

The same guy was reporting that he?s experiencing some choppy gameplay/performance issues with his BFG 7800 GS OC AGP card; and his card is running at temperatures of 112-117F (45-47C) consistently. So, he contacted BFG Tech support and someone there told him that if his card is running below 40C that this is the source of these issues, and that the graphics card is running too cold!

A few weeks later Creative released information and blamed DDR Dual Channel for these related issues. Intel just announced its plan on its Core 2 Solo single-core processors in Q3 2007. Instead of normal edition, the upcoming Core 2 Solo has ULV (Ultra Low-Voltage) edition only, targeting for the Sub-Note market. Regarding with the rumor concerning Merom based Celeron M is a dual core, Intel has also announced it should be a single core. The rumor is busted.
