AMD announces its first 65nm processors

The rumors were true: AMD has officially launched its first batch of processors built on 65nm process technology. The new chips are part of the Athlon 64 X2 line and fill gaps in the existing 90nm lineup, which was stripped of chips with 1MB of cache per core earlier this year.
