Blizzard Entertainment hat neue Patches für WarCraft III: Reign of Chaos und The Frozen Throne herausgegeben. Das 3D Real-Time Strategiespiel wird auf Version 1.11 geupdatet.

Hauptaufgabe des Patches ist es das Spiel kompatibel mit dem The Frozen Throne Addo-on zu machen.

Kostenlose Vollversionen der Egoshooter Half-Life, Opposing Force sowie die Beta Version 1.6 Counter Strike über den Download Service Steam von Valve Software, welcher sich derzeit in der Beta Phase befindet, werden angeboten.

Laut Microsoft Game Studios und Bungie Studios wurde der Xbox-Shooter "Halo: Combat Evolved" weltweit mittlerweile über 3 Millionen mal verkauft. Im Sommer 2003 soll das Spiel schließlich in einer erweiterten PC-Version erscheinen und gemeinsames Spiel über das Netzwerk erlauben.

Publisher Konami has released a patch for Silent Hill 2 to address missing text and/or missing videos on Nvidia GeForce FX cards. Mobile chipsets are not included.

The developers of UT2004 don't want to split hairs with this game. It is still using the same engine and the majority of gameplay elements will be very familiar to players of the 2003 version. If you hated the first game, you'll probably hate this. Sorry, but that's how it is.

That said, if you remotely enjoyed UT2003, Unreal Tournament 2004 is better in every single way. The new game adds everything from the already released bonus packs, as well as a ton of new maps, game modes, weapons, and vehicles. Did I say vehicles? You bet I did.

NewsWare have posted a Half-Life 2 gameplay video which requires registration with NewsWare and a 160 MB download! So I don't know if this is a new or old video.

Formerly know as Troopers - Rise Of The Rebellion, the highly anticipated UT2003 mod will be released as a demo version today, Dan ?ViperEye? Tennant announced yesterday on the official website. The battlefields upon which the gameplay of Troopers will take place will include many of the well-known and recognizable locations from the original Star Wars trilogy. They comprise a wide and varied selection, and are sure to entertain any demographic. The demo will contain 3 different maps as well as three player models including the Stormtrooper and the Fleet Rebel with six distinct skins.
