Armed Assault looks and feels like OFP. It should, since the title's is built from an upgraded and improved version of the same game engine. In fact, Armed Assault is essentially a public entertainment-ized version of the "Virtual Battle Space 2" military tactical simulator currently in use by the USMC and Australian Army, among others.

CellFactor AGEIA PhysX Tech Demo
AGEIA has released a playable technology demo for CellFactor: Combat Training, offering a chance to try out the physics-infused, futuristic first-person shooter being crafted at Artificial Studios and Immersion Games. This demo requires a PhysX accelerator and a "decent gaming rig," and it contains the technology level familiar from the recent movie trailers that can be played offline against bots as well as on LAN.

In case you missed it, id Software has recalled the Quake 4 1.1 patch as "There is a problem with the widescreen functionality that may harm a user's monitor".
