It's on line the latest release (Alpha 35) of SFFT driver for 3dfx hardware and Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP Operative Systems. It comes out with two packages, one for VSA-100 cards, and so Voodoo4 4500, Voodoo5 5500 and Voodoo5 6000 are supported as well, and one for Voodoo3 family, including Voodoo3 2000, Voodoo3 3000 and Voodoo3 3500 cards. Back on the 20th of October last year Nvidia Corporation introduced a new feature in their ForceWare 81.85 graphics card drivers. They called it ?Direct Access?, and it was designed to enable users to control their monitors directly from the ForceWare control panel instead of the actual controls on their monitor. While it is nice to see Nvidia incorporating new features into their software, it turned out that there is an ?evil side? to this Direct Access feature.
