Just got word from Vr-Zone and Multi-hardware about new Epox BIOSes that have been released.

EPoX-8K3A+ Beta 2325 BIOS - 218Mhz FSB.

EPoX-8K3A / +, 8k3a 2321 bios.

EPoX-8HAL +, 8khp 2315 bios.

EPoX-3VSA / 3VSA2 / 3VSM , 3VSA2207 bios.

EPoX-4BDAE (previously known have 4BDAL), 4bde 2320 bios.

New Epox 8KHA+ Beta Bios 3.14!

Just got word from Cwood2000 that there's a new Epox 8KHA+ BETA BIOS v3.14. Here's what he's saying:

NICE! Another BIOS has been found: Epox/8KHA+/8khi2314-beta ...this BIOS, in comparison to the previous, re-enables the usage of CL2 (CAS 2) and I think there are also some new health monitoring options... all in all, works fine for me!

Aoaforums.com are reporting that Epox have released new Epox 8KHA+ and 8K7A/+ BIOSes.

Model : EP-8KHA+ BIOS : 8KHI2304.BIN (3A00) Fixed :

- Support ATA-133 HDD
- Turn off KB LED after ACPI S3/S4/S5 mode
- Fixed DRAM Bank interleave can?t modify by item if over clocked
- Huge hard disk size over 137GB support
- Added CPU support for forthcoming AMD processors

Model : EP-8K7A & 8K7A+ BIOS : 8K7A2304.BIN (8D00) Fixed :

- Update HP370 BIOS to v2.0.0907
- Added CPU support for forthcoming AMD processors
- Support huge hard disk size over 137GB(not include High Point IDE)

If your like me, you've been waiting a LONG time for this... espically those of you with the GT/R version with the onboard highpoint 372 raid, the formerly and only available shipping bios for this board had a very old version of the hpt372 bios on it and word around the campfire is the new version, 2.31, packs some boost for us RAID0 users!

New Abit KG7 Series BIOS!

Abit has released a new BIOS for the complete KG7 series. What bothers me the most is that Abit does not implement the latest Highpoint-BIOSes for the RAID controller. Anyway here's the scoop: Version 68 Support AMD Athlon XP 2000+ and Morgan Duron 1300. Fix ACPI error message in Windows XP Event Viewer. Support 3.5GB memory while four sticks of 1G DDR memory installed. Fix performance drop after STR mode by Sisoft Sandra 2000. Fix SCSI CDROM boot issue for TekrAm SCSI card.
