The French site PC Inpact have the first pitures of ATi's Radeon X1950 Pro AGP which is clocked higher than its PCI Express counterparts at 600 MHz core and 700 MHz memory instead of the 575 MHz core and 690 MHz memory on PCI Express parts.

As you may or may not have heard, ATi is going to be offering a new AA mode coming up soon for single ATi cards. No clue exactly what is/isn't supported yet as they haven't even really announced what it is yet, but rumor has it to be a MSTAA mode (alpha to coverage). And since tEd over at Beyond3D once again figured out how to hack the beta Catalyst 6.10 set to get it working I figure it's ok to mention it.

I was just checking some new graphics cards from HiS as we'll be doing a lot of product reviews for them soon and accidentaly stumbled into something very interesting. We all know that ATI is working on Crossfire support without that dreaded dongle cable. Catalyst 6.3 most definitely did not support this feature.

Radeon X1800 + Xpress 3200

There seems to be a strategy to extend the value to those people that have shelled out for X1800 parts, by allowing Crossfire to work without master hardware, but only on Radeon Xpress 3200 -based mainboards. It's set to be announced after CeBit, and looks like being workable with the entire X1800 range, from XL to XT and possibly All-In-Wonder to boot.
